There are a lot of dates flying around, and none of them from an authoritative source. Bloomsbury (JK Rowling's publishers) haven't announced a date. As soon as they do it will be all over the media.
The title is still unknown as well. It will probably be announced some time prior to the book's release.
You should be able to reserve a copy from most bookshops.

Unfortunately, no one yet knows when Harry Potter Book 7 will be released since J.K. Rowling is still in the process of writing it. She hasn't announced the title yet either, as she has two titles in mind at the moment. She has said that she liked the first one, until the second possibility occurred to her. Now, she says that she is going to wait until she has written more of the book before deciding which one is more appropriate. Bookstores aren't doing pre-orders for Book 7 yet, but if you go to the Amazon or Barnes and Noble websites and do a search for Book 7 you can sign up to receive an e-mail to alert you when you *can* do a pre-order.

It is tough waiting for Book 7, I know. In the meantime, you can also check the HPANA site for up to date news and rumors about Harry Potter though. They've had articles about Book 7 rumors, that include J.K. Rowling's responses. And, you can also check out J.K. Rowling's official site for more information. Sorry, but that is the best that I can offer you for now.

There is no date for sure, but JK Rowling is aiming for 7-7-07, and that is what everyone is hoping. That is London Bombing Day, so it will probably change. A rumored title for the book is "Harry Potter and the Wrath of Voldemort", but there have been many titles flying about and nothing is for sure.
Most likely you can start reserving for the book at any book store, but I am sure that many have already signed up and you will be at the way bottom.

if they stay true to form it will be july 7. which year, who knows? she sometimes takes forever. i'm just guessing here but i'd venture harry potter and the dark lord. just a gues but i think it fits in with the rest of the titles. as soon as they set a release date you can reserve a copy from barnes and noble, books a million, or any other book store. since this is the last one, i'm sure there will be parties and stuff thrown by the bookstores. i'll see ya there.

No title, or DEFINITIVE release dates yet, although there are lots of rumored ones. You'll probably hear a title before a release date, though.

Don't know the name, but as soon as it is publicised, just go to your nearest bookshop and they will reserve it for you.
