The lump is the size of a dime and its kind of squishy. I've had it a few weeks now. Could it be related to carpal tunnel syndrome?

yes it could be carpul tunnel, although you could have a small cist. you need to have it checked by a doctor if it is a cist you will probably have to have it removed. you also could have hurt it in someway and dont remember how try wrapping an ace bandage around it for a while and add some ice and see if that helps good luck

It could be carpal tunnel or just a cyst. I'd consult a dr especially quick if it starts to affect you blood circulation or is causing you pain.

A ganglion cyst. I have one and even after they remove it, it grows back. It comes and goes but its not dangerous. It does hurt if I put too much pressure on it though. Some people smack them hard with the end of a butter knife to break it up but I'm a baby, I wait it out.

If it is painful, see a doctor. Don't suffer at home needlessly.
