Foley is a hypocrit for being on the Children's Caucus and sending sexual innuendos to pages. Is that a larger offense then actually having physical relations with them?

Answerman: I'm not. I fear that the press is in regards to Foley. After all he deserves harsher punishment in their eyes, because he's a hyporcit. We've heard it over and over again.

If it was a capital offense, then most of the Congress would be guilty. Many take money and favors from groups, then claim that those groups don't influence them...Many say what a particular group wants to hear, then the next day when talking to another group they contradict what they said earlier...anyone who thinks that any politician is not a hypocrite is very naive. That is how they get elected. By being able to talk out of both sides of their mouths.

I agree, I think Foley should face a stiffer penalty as he tried to convince people that he was against child porn when in reality he was a proponent of it.

It would be great if there were a "law against hypocracy" but the very people who would make the law and enforce it would be the same ones guilty of it also.

You are trying to define shades of wrong, wrong is wrong and right is right. No, I think hypocrisy comes under Gods laws and will be taking care of in the final judgment, in the meantime the hypocrite has to live with him or herself on earth, should there be a punishment for the actual crimes. Oh yeah.

My guess is there isn't a person on this site that isn't a hypocrite, so you are asking us to condemn ourselves to death. I'm all for it, but I'm not going to do it!
