You're the problem at the moment. (I support you, not accuse you.)
Learn to love yourself for who you are, and when you've managed that, you'll be able to find someone to love - whether it's a man or woman, this still applies.

If you are gay, learn to accept it (not easy -especially if you have homophobic influences around you). You are still as good as anyone else, there is nothing wrong with being gay - despite what some twisted fools will say in answer to your question.

Most of all, do not spend your life denying what you are - or you will never be happy, and you may cause distress to many others along the way.

you may't be born to be any specific way. not something is thoroughly genetic. there is an environmental effect. Even in the womb the ambience has an impact which isn't thoroughly by way of genetic of the youngster. the ambience of the womb must be one element that reasons people to be lesbian whether that's not in all probability a element in being gay. If homosexuality became thoroughly genetic MZ twins could the two be the two gay or the two immediately. you may tell how lots androgens you have been uncovered to prenatally by using the ratio between your 2d and fourth hands on your precise hand. Many have been uncovered to androgens who have not became out to be gay. There are remedies for babies who had too lots androgen exposure. This project is extra complexed than you think of. I additionally think of that in the event that they have been born that way we might see signs and indicators of homosexuality before and homosexuality could nonetheless be seen a affliction.

You should focus on changing how you feel about being gay, not changing being gay. It is probably very uncomfortable for you now, but you should find out about other gay people in your area. Maybe there is a support group you can go to. Or at least try to meet some gay friends. That will help you see that gay people are normal people just like everyone else, and you can begin to feel more comfortable with your sexual orientation.

I think the answer is finding a way to be happy the way you are as you are. There are a lot of people who may tell you that you can magically change your orientation but that can lead to hitting your head against a brick wall and a lot of heartache. My ex is a gay man and struggled with his sexuality for years going through some very dark times...
Find people who can be of support to you and give you advice on how they handled the situation and who will give you an even handed view. It is ok to be who you are...love yourself first and foremost. That is the best advice anyone can give.

Start to hang around more gay people, or gay-friendly people for a while until you feel you can come out and accept it as being just as ordinary as being straight.

After a while, hopefully you will find the confidence to be who you are around everyone.

Consider having a sex change. That way you could then fancy the opposite sex without fear of recrimination. problem solved. ;o)

Seriously though, you are what you are and even if you try to work against your own feelings, you will only bring yourself down more and more.

You could try dating girls in an attempt to change how you feel, but in the end, if you re destined to be gay, YOU need to combat any prejudice you have against the idea.

Nothing much unless you are prepared to go against your nature and supress your instincts.
Councelling may help but it won't stop you being gay!

you can decide to not fantisize about men. but being (or thinking thoughs about) homosexuality is very natural ans you shouldn't be ashamed. and if you think you are attracted to men, then find a boyfriend. there's nothing to not like about it. i mean, it could if you take it up the chauff, but all you have to do is to do things in an isolated area.
