Great question! I think deciding which door to use falls into the "strange human behavior" category. I don't know the answer for why alot of people will try to enter and exit using the door someone is cleaning. Maybe because the fact that the door is being cleaned draws attention to it.
Another weird door thing I notice is the different ways people will react to a situation where they attempt to enter a building with double glass doors and one of the doors is locked. My reaction would be to try the other door. But, I've seen people, once they learn that one side of a double door is locked, will start looking for another way to enter a building, or walk to the side of a building, rather than just check to see if the other door is also locked.
Human behavior can be weird sometimes.

Wow. i in my opinion found out alot from this. that may not a shaggy dog tale. that's 24-karat gold! same reason why I'm in an elevator, and when the door opens people are crowded an inch from the door like they're shocked that someone may actually be in the elevator wanting to come out.
