I've been with BT Broadband for the last 3 years and I'm happy. I had dial-up with One.Tel and then NTL on my BT line and was totally frustrated with the lack of service, being bumped off the service etc etc.
Things are a bit different now, but at the time my rationale was that BT was reselling broadband to Bulldog etc etc so I might as well go to the source and pay a little extra. I'm sure that BT would look after their customers more than their resellers - and it seems like I'm right.
However, Sky broadband seems to be a viable option... I've applied, I'm not connected (I don't think anyone is just yet). But BT is definitely the way to go - I can always connected first time, I don't get bumped off, I don't get charged for overages and also they have a good customer service. Worth paying the extra few pounds a month for...

Telewest does my whole TV, Phoneline & Broadband - haven't got any complaints so far. Usually costs me around £40-50 a month for everything. They are merging with NTL I think so I don't know what changes might be made in the future. Just hunt around for the best package, some have really good deals on for new customers.

I get my phone and broadband from telewest, the phone is quite cheap and there are discount options, the broadband was pretty slow until I upgraded from 2mg to 4mg, its ok now. I'm quite happy with the service, the only down side is if you need to contact them about anything, they have millions of different depts, and you ALWAYS get through to the wrong one!!

I'm with B.T, the service is okay, however my broadband did not start working until 102 days after it was activated! I had numerous conversations with B.T regarding this, they did tests (repeatedly), replaced my router twice, and I was told on various occasions that my broadband was working when it wasn't! It's working now, but my family and I found the whole situation was quite stressful.

My Broadband is Mad as a fish. and they seem to be quite good. I've had problems before and when i call customer support - they walk me through it step by step. It's not one of the cheapest but I chose it cause they support Macs as well.

BT for the last 5 years ( after advice from my computer shop ) and I have no intention of changing. Not cheap but rock steady. I have heard so many bad reports about Orange, Talktalk , Eh? Oh Hell ! ( A.O.L. ) ntl etc. I will stick with the devil I know.
