ensure is great for that too. Just watch your iron intake. Dont want too much.
Try having someone bring you food from outside some where. if you dont have to smell it, cook it, or think about it, its generally easier to just eat as much as you can the second it comes through the door and then burry the left overs in the garbage in a plastic bag.
Thats what worked for me. We ate out ALOT my first trimester. Which was generally me sitting in the car and him bringing me food, and then throwing the rest away before i threw up. lol.
You need to eat something during the day. Its hard, i know how you feel, iam not a big eater any how. Maybe one meal a day, a snack if iam really hungry, so HAVING to eat for two is really taxing. Not to mention bothersome.
Just find ways to trick yourself into eating food. Even if its just a bite of something. Atleast its a bite.

Morning sickness shouldn't last all day but sometimes it does. You must eat. You need extra calories not just for the baby but for you. You have a lot of good suggestions here so try a few and see how they work for you. What worked for me was before I even raised my head up in the morning I had a couple of saltine crackers and then I could get up without throwing up. Try eating lighter foods. A slice of toast with peanut butter on it. Tomato soup with a grilled cheese sandwich. Go ahead and have the liquid meals but skip the slim fast and go with the ensure. You should not be watching calories that close. Go out for meals well not really out pick them up through drive-thru and take them home to eat. Skip the fast food go to a decent restaurant and get take out. Try to remember to eat a variety of foods so that you get your vitamins. Keep fruit and finger vegetables in the fridge to munch when you get hungry these are much better than soda and candy. If you eat lightly several times a day you will find that sick feeling going away and you and your baby will get the calories you need.

Okay i am 19 weeks prego with my second kid, poor nutrition led to problems with my first pregnancy(kids fine), but now i am eatiing better... I have a one year old so if you can immagin i have no time to eat. Slim fasts are okay at night... I have found it cuts those late night cravings for sweet unhealthy things, and helps keep the hunger away... beans and other protiens are good... even a piece of whole grain bread with a bit of butter is good.. Strawberries and blueberries are great, jsut watcht the amount of vitamin C you take in... to much can cause problems...... Your vitamins are a sure bet that you and your baby will get the minimum nutrition you require... ALSO DRINK LOTS OF WATER!!! i know it is tough to drink more fluids, but you need to, it is nessesary... your amniotic fluid is replaced fully every 3 hours!!! and even when trips to the bathroom disscourage you, keep drinkin... i like to keep a bottle of water on my hip, drink at least 6- 8oz bottles... (recomended is 8-8oz, but i cant drink that much, plus you will probably get that much from your food and other snaks/drinks throught the day. GOOD LUCK!!! And rememebr eating something is better than nothing, as long as it has some nutritional value.

Listen i understand your problem because in the begining of my pregnancy i didn't eat much either but the candy and the sodas are not good for you or the baby. yes occasionally but not to replace you meals. you should try to MAKE yourself eat 6 small meals a day. this can be hard to do if you are busy but you should at least eat 3 good meals. if you don't get your baby the food it needs to grow the baby is going to take the NUTRIENTS from you not the calories. if you don't drink milk then the baby will take the calcium from your bones and teeth because the baby is going to make sure that it gets what it needs but you need to make sure you have enough for the both of you. please eat even if you do feel sick or throw it up at least you get the nutrients for the baby. try yogurt or fruits or something. good luck!

first -don't have soda and candy around the place-so at least you have a chance to make something better for you both
try celery/carrot sticks to replace them-eat with cottage cheese or riccota-when you get up prepare them(slice and peel)for the day then they are ready when you need them-
rice or pasta will boost up your calories too as slow release carbs-prepare some as a dessert and some as savoury-eat cold later on in the day
remember too much calorie intake promotes diabetes in some people-especially when pregnant

Try to eat when your the most relaxed during the day. Sit down read a book and munch on anything that doesn't make you queasy. No matter what you eat your baby will get what it needs even if you feel starved or hungry. Don't get panicked just eat what you can whenever you can and your baby will take what it needs first.

Eat smaller meals, more frequently, try to avoid spicy foods and foods with lots of carbs as your blood sugar will naturally rise while pregnant and the "sugar high" can make you feel ill. peanut butter, cheese fresh fruits and veggies such as carrot sticks and celery make great snacks. a piece if string cheese cut up and placed on ritz cracker and then microwaved and an olive on top was my favorite snack while I was pregnant all 3 times.

in case you experience you definitely need extra Iron precise now, ask your wellness practitioner for 'Sytron'. that's an Iron supplement that's given to pre-term and untimely babies. i became prescribed this after having my 2d son as I badly mandatory Iron (confusing c area, a great sort of bruising, a great sort of blood loss etc) yet widely used Iron pills have been making me dehydrated by way of very very undesirable diarrhea (extremely uncommon!) It tastes yuck, whether it extremely is absorbed speedier so much less is going into breast milk. Plus its gentler on the digestive equipment. Do you drink a great sort of orange juice? that's been widely used to disillusioned breast fed babies if Mum beverages it in many cases. attempt reducing it out for some days.
