supposedly there is a myth out there that tin foil stops alien beta waves(and government intervention thru radio type waves) from subliminaly entering the brain and making us do stuff we dont want to consciously do.

They use the tinfoil to protect against the mind control rays the government uses against the people. That was the secret discovered in the UFO wreckage in Roswell.
The shiny side should go out to provide superior protection and deflect the mind control rays.
Never buy a tinfoil hat... always make your own. That way you are assured that the government didn't control the manufacturing process and slip in chips that would ENHANCE the mind control properties of your only protection from the omnipotent government.

I'd immagine youd want to face the side that was more reflective to electromagnetic interferences towards the outside, but I'm not sure what side that is... I'm just going to assume its the shiny one!
not that these waves and frequencies cant penetrate youre face... I'm sure if there was a threat the tin foil hat would be of little protection at best.
Better to use a tin foil ski mask!

They're trying to block the bad guys beaming harmful rays at them but they won't have to worry for very long, Air America has filed for bankruptcy protection and will soon just be another inconsequential foootnote in broadcast history.

I wear it to keep the aliens from reading my mind, and making me wear plaid socks with white trousers and pink shirts. Shiny side must be OUT, or they will control me like they do all of those poor golfers!!
