I call it blackmail.. he's determined to get money and support out of the US.. North Korea is very close to total bankrupcy and too stupid to know that you can't force the US with the threat of nuclear war. How long does N Korea think it would last in an all out War..? seconds maybe?

He is the "backup enemy" for when Osama dies in the hills.
See, Bush and the GOP need to keep the old "terror" fires burning so you won't mind it when they strip more freedoms away. They're shopping around right now, and Iran's Khameni seems a little too "real" to pick on, unless you want a shootin' war.
Did you catch how the Bushies went from "Serious Repercussions" against North Korea to "We Will Not Invade"? Maintaining crisis at a point just short of actual war is the Republican agenda. It's worked for the last five years, and they hope to continue it (after all, the American electorate has a very short attention span).
Kim may be a funny-looking moron with delusions of adequacy who inherited the rulership of one of the least important nations on the planet, but he will dance for food. So when Bush tells him to stuff a bunch of TNT in a mine and call it a "nuke-you-lar test", he will hop to it like the frog that he is.
Just wait, though. Osama dies in the moun-tains, and Kim Jung-il will become "Axis of Evil Enemy #1" ... unless there's a better candidate in the meantime.

Actually I think Bush expanding a war to Iran or North Korea is more of a threat than Kim.

At the moment, he's just a nuisance. But if he ever decides to sell his toys, there could be trouble. The North Korean People are the best example on earth of why the U.S. Second Amendment is important. They are completely helpless before that tyrant. Libs might not like them, but guns ARE keeping America free -- at least, freer than we would be without them!

He's a potential Threat!
But,NOT from being threat!
Only by the Way Governments React to his Sabre rattling will determine the Effect he is looking For!!

So at the Moment he's an annoyance!

Well there definitly was a very large explosion whether it was nuclear or not as it caused seismic activity in japan. But i think if he does have nuclear capabilities it's not good for anyone, even Korea.
