i imagine it makes truly some sense. god is closest to those with damaged hearts because they don't have any man or woman to lean on so He helps them. He classes them decrease back onto the path. you eventually end up by ability of God once you're in not basic circumstances like that!

Those with broken hearts could be alot of people. Someone who has a loved one die God would be there for them absolutely. A person hwo has had to face a divorce when they were chated on and that is not what they wanted. I can think of alot of times God is ther for us and not only when there is a broken heart.

You don't have to be Jewish to appreciate God's Word. I just wish people would correctly translate Scripture.
That particular verse is speaking of humility, meekness, the heart being contrite. Good verse

I said a prayer for you today
And know God must have heard-
I felt the answer in my heart
Although He spoke no word!
I didn't ask for wealth or fame
(I knew you wouldn't mind)-
I asked Him to send you treasures
Of a far more lasting kind!
I asked that He'd be near you
At the start of each new day
To grant you health and blessings
And my friendship to share your way!
I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small-
But it was for His loving care
I prayed the most of all!

i love the verse even if i am not jewish. it holds alot of truth, when you feel as though you have no one in the world and all hope is gone. call out to him and you suddenly feel lifted! not even a relious person but one who does believe!

I like it too! I think God is close to everyone who believes in him. I'm not sure God has any favorites. We are all his children.
