Some studies say that using even a handsfree mobile has a detrimental effect on driving roughly equivalent to having drunk enough to be over the legal limit. From experience many of the people I see swerving between lanes and basically driving like idiots are on the phone. The problem with banning mobiles is that you would have ban other things which distract drivers like loud music, backseat drivers, crying babies etc etc. Personally I think it shouldn't be banned but anyone seen to be driving without due care and attention should be fined very heavily.

Sorry but you cant. That is to say you personally cant. The Police can carry out checks to establish full details of all incoming / outgoing calls etc but they only tend to do this for more serious cases as its a pain in the **** to get it authorised !! The problem from there is what if you find out the number that called-what then ? So many mobiles are not registered .... Police could triangulate the signals to find out where the call is made from but again only for serious stuff etc.....If its nuisance calls u r gettin then speak to your service provider who could put a bar on certain incoming call types....hope this helps

You cannot do this!(Data Protection)
Only if you have had a Number of Nuisance calls where the Number has been with held can you proceed and make a complaint to the Police.
Then and Only Then can your Service provider Track and trace(And Stop) Unwanted calls!
Some handset can Block these with held Numbered calls-But I haven't figured out which!
Consult with your Customer Service Team at Your Own Service provider)

Most phones are now made without this feature. However, if you put 141 before the number, that still works, so no, unless it's really malicious, you can't.

You can't. That's why there withheld. If it's a legal matter, the police may be able to contact your cell service, and go from there, but other than that, there's nothing you can do.

When the phone rings with an "unknown" or "private" number displayed on the callerID, just hit the "talk" key. then say "who is this?"

Good luck!

My advise is see who's calling you first, dont answer and just reject the call.
