She is my mom's mother's sister's daughter.

I know that makes her first cousin to my mom, but how do I call the relationship to me?

Second cousin? First cousin, once removed? Something different?

And for anyone who is wondering, I am not asking so that I can marry her or anything, I'm just curious.

Thanks.

Let's call her Lucy. Her mother is Ann. Ann is your mom's aunt. That makes Lucy and your mom first cousins. You and Lucy are 1st cousins, once removed. Lucy's kid and you will be second cousins. There is a difference between second cousins and 1st cousins, once removed, although from past answers people will tell you there isn't. When you are referring to people from two different generations, it includes removals. When the entire generations step down, you refer to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.

First cousin once removed, and her child would be your second cousin. According to my old grandma who was into this stuff.

She is your first cousin once removed, but you can just call her your cousin.

Second cousin. Here's a great, if confusing at first, chart:
http://statelibrary.dcr.state.nc.us/iss/gr/chart.htm

Start with the common ancestor (in your question, your great-grandmother) and go across to the relationship of the other person to the common ancestor (great-grandchild), then down to your relationship to the common ancestor (also great-grandchild): second cousin.
