I got bored and started playing with matches. It was all fun until I burned my thumb. The burned part is my fingertip, and it is now white. The natural pinkness is gone. It feels hard kind of like calloused. I can't feel it. I tried poking at it with a pencil and had to push really hard just to feel. I think I burned the nerves out. Please tell me I'll get the feeling back! I hope it heals.

Unless you burned it clear to the bone, nerves will regenerate or grow back.
It will have to heal up first and it may take some time but you are OK.
Devise a plan for those bored moments that do not include bodily damage as next time you may not be so lucky.

How severe is the burn? Just curious, so you had nothing to do but play with matches? Haven't your parents told you that it was dangerous to play with fire? :P
Anyways, You should go to a doctor. Does it hurt when you type or pick things up? If yes, then yes you will get the feeling back!
