I thought emotional outbursts and moodiness went away after the 1st trimester, but my friends and co-workers think I'm really emotional-- like I go from one emotion to the next really abruptly..
AND I cry over commercials-- I'm close to all tears A LOT! and usually I'm stoic.

Hormone levels will continue to rise and so will your emotions. Couple that with the normal stress and strain on your body and you can expect just about anything.

It's also a very emotional time psychologically so just go with your feelings. Remember feelings are not right or wrong they just are.

Having said that you may want to be aware that some women suffer from postpartum depression as well.

Talk to your OB/GYN next visit and he/she can reassure you that this is a normal occurrence.

Best wishes with your new little one....

Ugh! It lasted the whole time during both of my pregnancies. I am not a "crier" normally, but when I was pregnant I was a total bawl bag.

I would cry over literally nothing! It's just on the long list of things you have to deal with when you're pregnant.

Oh yes. You will NEVER be the same emotionally speaking. What I mean by that is you will be a softer person after you have kids. I was really stoic too before kids. Kids open up new dimensions in you. You will be a deeper person.
