I've been seeing my doctor regularly, and gaining weight, he's moving a lot, and his heart rate is 150. But my belly looks like I'm about 4-5 months pregnant not 7?? I don't know where the weight's going either, I started out at 118pnd and am now 140, I'm 5' 6" and do have a longer waist. But nothing on me really looks any bigger, and my stomach hasn't changed much in the last few weeks?? The doc said he thinks everything is fine, and my measurements and the 20wk ultrasound are right for my due date...Jan 2nd! But I still can't stop worrying that my belly isn't really sticking out and looking like a pregnant woman. Where does a 2pnd 15in long baby go then? Should he be feeling heavy right now, should I be able to feel a baby in there while I'm lying down, and should his little parts that move around be feeling bigger??? This is my 1st pregnancy too! Help!!

With my first son I was pretty thin when I got pregnant (125 lbs. and 5'7"). Granted, he was 6 weeks early, but when I had him there were people who didn't know I was pregnant until I gave birth. I just didn't show at all with him. I was sick morning, noon, and night the whole pregnancy and just gained 11 pounds total.
My second son, I got huge with! I gained 30 pounds and EVERYBODY knew I was pregnant that time :) I wasn't quite as sick with him- just the first 3 - 4 months.

Everyone is diffferent. Some people are huge, some arent. With both of my kids I didnt start to show until I was almost 8 months, I barely showed and gained 80lbs both times. Where the weight was I have no idea. Im 5'8 and was 125lbs when I started. Still trying to lose the weight..;-) Dont worry. If the doctor says your baby is fine, that is great. The doctor can tell by the ultrasound if the baby is under weight or not...i my self would prefer a small baby than a huge baby..calm down...take a deep breathe, you will be fine..good luck!

IF this is your first pregnancy it is quite normal. When I was pregnant with my first child I had a similar experience that left me crying one day in the doctors office. He assured me the baby was fine and I would get my belly soon enough. Boy was he right, I ended up with a really big old belly and a 9lb 6 1/2oz baby.
When you have 2nd, 3rd etc children the uterus with be less toned and you will have your early pregnancy belly...
Try not to focus too much attention on worrying, instead try to enjoy this time.
best wishes with your new little one.
150 heart rate sounds like you're having a girl to me.....

i'm 29 weeks due december 27th i'm not huge this is my 3rd i've gained 20 pounds i can feel the baby ALL the time i did not even show at all till 6.5 months. My belly is meauring right i think my baby is laying more towards my back every so often he lays more in front i'll look bigger.also i'm only 5'3 the taller you are the later you'll pop out big because your insides have more room to grow upwards + the way the baby is laying has a lot to do with how big you look

Your fine. Its your first pregnancy, and each pregnancy is difference. Iam a few weeks behind you and i started out at 123 and weigh in at a staggering 151, but yet i can just barely fit into pregnancy clothes. I look pregnant, but it happened literally over the course of a weekend. I went from NOTHING to a basket ball on my front.
Dont worry, seriously, when your internal anatomy no longer provides enough space for your little squirt it will pop right out. THeres simply no other option. A lot of women get pregnant and their uterus' can keep growing upward for the LONGEST time. Once all your organs are mushed unto your rib cage you'll have to pop outward.
Find something more productive to worry about, like what name you have, or if you've bought enough diapers yet.. lol, you're wearing yourself out over nothing. :)

Don't worry... I'm due mid-Dec and going thru the same thing. Mine's heart rate is actually real close to yours, I'm 5'5", started out at 145 and now at 165... As long as your dr says that everything is okay, then just relax. I'm just now starting to look pregnant so give it some time... sometimes first timers don't look pregnant til later... Good luck....

I wouldnt worry yourself as long as the doctor says you and the baby are doing well. I didnt look huge like some of my friends did because my son was lying against my back and I wasnt holding much amniotic fluid. wish you all the luck and happinessx

in your case of what you have said it seems to me that your baby is laying back to back with you so instead of it facing your back its lay against your back so it means you dont show much my mother was pregnant with my little brother and he was also lay against her back and you didn't even know she was pregnant she had a tiny little bump as if she had eaten to many cream cakes but she didn't look pregnant at all, its completely normal dont worry

Don't worry about it if your doctor says everything is fine. I'm 31 weeks and I definitely don't look it.
