I wouldn't say it was a sign of labor. I had it too from early on in my second and third pregnancies and the doctor told me it was just the ligaments stretching. Some days I could barely walk. Congrats on the baby. God bless.

As your body prepared to give birth, it starts stretching and loosening down there. Also, around 37 weeks your baby may be getting into position for birth, this also can cause discomfort in you vaginal area (especially a feeling of pressure). I experienced this, and it only got worse the further I got.
However, if it is a severe pain, or there is any blood or fluid with it; you need to call your doctor. It is possible that something could be tearing. Probably not your vagina, but something else. When this happens it is a VERY severe pain.
Good Luck & Congratulations!!!
Hope this helped you!!!

Its just a sign that the baby is resting further in the pelvis. Its not a sign of labor, but its a sign that you're getting there. :)

FUN TIMES!
Just breath and you'll be fine.....not a sign of labor. But any time you are worried you should go to the doctor.
Good luck....

just means the baby has dropped into your pelvis area preparing for his/her delivery and yes its a sign you will be having the baby soon as for exactly when it could be weeks still.
