'Tenebre' or 'Suspiria' by Dario Argento
'The House with Laughing Windows' by Pupi Avati
'The Shining' by Stanley Kubrick
'The Beyond' by Lucio Fulci
There is a big clamor around Japanese horror these days and some of them are good. But don't forget to check out some Italian horror classics as well!

This Halloween I'm looking forward to SAW III...
I'm a fan of the series. Put aside the gore, and it has more intelligence than many other horror/suspense movies, IMHO.
