My spouse and I both agree that our most favorite times are when we are out in nature, walking or hiking, especially in the woods. It's awesome. Find a park that is small and out of the way that has some kind of trails and or unique sight, like falls or something. It is really cool. We also like to go to towns that were settled like in the 1800's and visit the old part of town and walk and/or drive around looking at all the beautiful old homes.

Several years ago my husband and I went on a zoo cruise. We rode a little chartered boat through and around the zoo. My hubby and I found a cozy little place to sit on the deck- there were no other people in that spot but no one said anything to us. Well, we get about halfway through the cruise and we hit this spot, water comes up over the side of the boat and both my hubby and I got drenched and I mean drenched. This was not a boat used for oevernighters so there was no bedding and no towels on it. Someone from the crew came out with some tableclths for us to wrap up in. People were very kind and compassionate to us as we two soaked to the skins rats deboarded but I can imagine what they were thinking. It was a bit embarrassing then but now I think it was pretty funny.

We have had two best dates, and it seems they both involved children's activities. We went to an arcade where we were able to play putt-putt golf outside which was fun, but the real fun began inside with the small children's games. It seems they had this game that involved characters that looked like Oscar the Grouch from Sesame Street, the object was to throw as many balls as possible into the trash can. We had a competition. Well I was certainly no match for my husband. While I was able to throw up to three at time at the trash can, my husband 6'2", was able to scoop up 6-12 balls at time. It was a much fun watching him as it was to have him beat me. The real pleasure was in how much fun it was for the on looking crowd of 2-6 year olds. They were really getting a kick out of it.

Our second favorite date was the Chattanooga, TN Aquarium. Anything that involves animals is a fit for us, because we are both hugh animal lovers.

Go to a Jimmy Buffett concert. Even if you are not familiar with the music, it is worth it to check out the "Parrotheads". They start tailgating 8 hours before the concert, dress their cars (or RV's) like pirate ships and wear grass skirts. They are always very friendly, so you would meet some interesting folks.

If you do like his music, then the concert itself is a lot of fun and has plenty of opportunity for audience participation.
