Get a good night's sleep
Wake up a lil' early and refresh your memory
Last minute reading before the exam helps
Try a study group and ask each other likely questions
Try not to 'cram' or memorize stuff as it's in the book..try to read and understand
Make sure u don't have any thoughts of cheating if not u WILL NOT remember things you know
If you r religious pray b4 reading for retentive memory and b4 the exams for remembrance and insight and after for the scorer not to make mistakes.
B confident in yourself
Remember to read and understand as much as you can way before the exam date. It helps to read way before the exams r near so when reading for exams it becomes pretty easy just as if you r revising what u already know.

hai deeksha,
i can quite well understand how frustrating u must be finding it to mug up history questions.......especially medieval architecture,kingdoms etc of india...n yeah ofcourse the freedom struggle too....
you should try to learn history in the form of stories...try making short notes in the form of points...n keep readin ur textbook.... u shd make it a point to read ur textbook atleast 3-4 times b4 appearing for the exam......then,u wont forget the answers....history is not as much boring as some ppl say...u just hv to try to njoy learning it.....

In my classes where memorization is the key...especially on tests...I use word association. Find a word that goes with something else that will trigger and jog your memory. Those are the words to engrave into your gray matter and it will automatically send the right anwser forward. Good luck!

dont just memorize, UNDERSTAND make it a peice of your general knowlege SS is great and fun , it only needs someone who could understand it
