This is dysphagia. And the type u r describing is more likely to occur from oesophagitis. u may try some Proton pump inhibitor drugs like Omeprazole or Pantoprazole. Try to lie on left side while sleeping with keeping ur head high. if that does not help, plz consult a gastroenterologist.
N.B. - Thanks abqdan, hiatus could be a factor here

This could be caused by a number of problems, including simple GERD. However, it can also suggest a serious condition (Barrett's Esophagus) which can be a precursor to esophageal cancer. This is a fairly rare cancer, and is typically associated with alcohol abuse or smoking.
At your age, the chances are slim that this is anything other than GERD, which can be caused by a hiatal hernia or other benign issue; in any case, whenever you have problems swallowing, this is a serious symptom that needs to be investigated properly and you need to see a doctor for a referral. The usual test done at this time will be a barium swallow - where you drink a special solution that allows the radiologist to see on a special screen exacly what is happening when you swallow - or an endoscopic procedure, where a lighted tube with a camera is inserted into your esophagus. Either way, see a doctor and get a proper diagnosis.

I had that same problem when I was pregnant with my son. It mainly came from when I took the prenatal vitamins. If you take those, that could be what makes you sick and keep you from eating. They did it to me. I had to settle for using the children's gummies. But, try eating more liquid food like soups until you can handle heavier food. Take your time when you move around, because pregnant women often get motion sickness. You can get it from moving around too much or from being in a car. But make sure you're getting a lot of fluids in your body. That way your amniotic fluid stays at the right level, you'll be hydrated, and I personally feel it'll give you something to throw up instead of stomach acid if you haven't eaten anything at all. And try taking naps when ever you get a chance. That helped me get through morning sickness faster. Morning sickness is most likely the reason you're having trouble. By 5 or 6 months you should be ok. Good luck!!! :)

you have odynophagia - that is painful swallowing.
Odynophagia suggests disruption of the esophageal mucosa.
* Any inflammatory process involving the mucosa of the oropharynx or esophagus or its muscle may cause odynophagia.
* In addition, odynophagia is a common symptom of pill-induced esophagitis or infection (eg, with cytomegalovirus, herpesvirus, Candida) of the esophagus.
* A muscle spasm may also lead to muscle pain odynophagia
it is better if you consult a doctor

notify your doctor as soon as possible. You might possibly have a throat infection, and if not prevented at earliest convenience, may spread throughout your mouth, and may lead to ear infection. Go to your doctor early in the morning today ASAP.
