I think u should tell him and get it out in the open and c what becomes of it otherwise u will play around and he will find someone else. With u telling him no to the date, he probably is under the understanding that u r not interested in him. U r sending him a mixed signal. U like him but u wouldn't date him? Go for it girl! Its the only way to find out,

I'd be casual about it.. maybe during a conversation you can say "hey.. I like hanging out with you! We should do it more often" and see where it goes. But take your time getting to KNOW the person before you fall for him. It takes a long time to really get to know a persons character and values and such, so just because he makes you warm when he smiles your way, doesn't mean it's love. Take your time and be friends first to get to know him before you open yourself up. Don't awaken love before it's time.

If he asked you out and you refused, go to him and ask if you can accept that date now. That you made the wrong choice and what is he doing Friday night? A very acceptable thing in this age and time. Go for it girl.

if he reject, at least u can wake up at once n who knows he might be having crush on u too n oh boy,then u both can click together
dun play guessing game,go for it,once n for all,positive or negative answer,at least u give it a try rather than sitting down there daydreaming everything abt him
