YOU don't tell HER. You speak to her manager quietly. Even right away.!

As A food handler I know that it is against health board rules(in my area anyway) for food handlers to have body odor. But also ,as was pointed out by another poster, it could be a medical condition, and some meds have this problem as a side affect, and the foods some people eat contribute to it, I worked with a person from a different country and they smelled of garlic and onions. Speak only to the manager of this issue, and be as kind as possible when telling him/her about it.

Had a coworker that would come in fresh out of the shower (so he said) smelling like he'd just done 15 hours of manual labor on the equator.
Long story short, polite and private discussions failed to get him to clean up, even restaurant customers complained.
We started leaving him soap, deodorant, air freshener, etc., eventually he just quit.

I wouldn't.. I would tell her manager. Maybe even call from home and tell the manager the service was great but you did notice she had some funky b.o. Now if it's a co-worker, an annymous note left in her purse or something.. but be gentle. :)

I would tell the manager in charge that you appreciated the service from the lady but she has a bad body odor problem.
Or when she comes over there make the comment "Does something stink in here?" and get up and walk out. IF she has a really bad BO problem, throw up in your food when she comes over. And then walk out.

Unless you are a family member or close friend, you don't. If it bothers you that badly, find another place to eat.

Don't insult anyone who is handling your food. You never know what they may do, your meal may come with a little extra if you know what I mean.
