Oh, there's so many. The blockbusters that get all the advertisements and sell so well at the box office are all the same, while some of the best indie movies made get no press at all. Some that are on the top of my head: Spanish Prisoner, Chumscrubber, The Big Lebowski.

Blade Runner, starring Harrison Ford and Rutger Hauer, and directed by Ridley Scott. Not terribly well regarded generally by the public and the critics when it came out (I believe it was something of a box-office flop), but a fabulous movie that has captured my heart and mind, evoking an imaginary world with subtlety and grace and sophistication, while telling a gripping action tale.
Wow, gotta go rent it now.

Do you know what? the Last Samurai didn't get nearly enough credit as it was due. That movie was one of the best movies I have ever seen.

I don't know the name of the movie...I just saw it once on tv long time ago...It's about a man who owned a very old desk...and once he wrote a letter and put it in that desk...and the letter went through the past to the owner of that desk in the past ..who was a girl. both of them kept writing letters to each other about the past and the future and they fell in love through their letters. It was a a touching movie.
