Roger Federer for sure but if Marat Safin is on Marat will win Rafael Nadal owns everyone on clay as on the womens side 1 player isnt dominant at the moment best 3 though are Justine Henin Sharapova and Mauresmo

For those who have already retired it would be Agassi and Sampras for the men and probably Martina Navratilova in the women.
As of today's tennis stars, I think Federer and Sharapova will definitely go deep in the history books. Fed is already dominating while Sharapova has already proven that she can beat anyone anywhere, anytime including the top 2 players in the world Henin and Mauresmo

For us tennis enthusiasts--in short fans-the Best Tennis Player in the world are those players who won many Grand Slam and ATP Titles.
I Salute Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. Despite the many veteran players and emerging versatile youngsters--they still lord it over in the Slams and ATP Tours.
I like Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams ..Despite their hectic schedules in modeling and other endorsements...they still have time to sharpen their skills and to make it to many finals.
These are the best player in the world--they inspire millions of kids to emulate them.

Roger Federer... by a long way. He has the best and most complete game. Offense, defense, volleying, baseline, forehand, backhand, everything is there. He has no weaknesses, just degrees of strengths. His natural talent is backed up by a champion's mentality and desire to win.
