Metamessages are the messages perceived to be between the lines. For instance. Your child has a favorite book which is made of cloth. You take it with you to your mothers and she makes the comment, "That's cute. Do you think it can be washed?" You don't hear the simple question about laundering instructions. You instead hear the accusation that the book is dirty. That was a metamessage.

Paralanguage I'm not too sure about, but I'd wager it means much the same or similar.

It's the alien language..
Meta-messages mean they (alien) want to send e-mail to people in the earth.
And Para-language means the other language that the other alien use..
I think.. I don't know about that..
