Ironic or not, why be a racist in the first place? Being a racist to me merely means one feels threatened by the other person and the only way that person can be on top of the situation is to play the race card. Such people are losers and merit to them in whatever form doesn't count. Just stay off that trail and be level headed.

Are they really being racist if it used ironically?
I think it is fine. It is good for the rest of us to laugh at how stupid racists really are.

Well I must say that this is a confusing ? for me. I would say that is it Ironic to be racist since we are all of the Human Race, that in itself is the only irony to me.

I think that most groups of people have neighbouring groups whom they make jokes about -- who are traditionally stupid from their point of view, or who have curious customs which they make fun of. It's a way of releasing tensions and when done properly, the target will take it in good part and also be able to laugh. It's not really racism and should not be seen as such.

No. Racism should never be acceptable. An 'ironic' way can easily lead to less 'ironic' instances, until the situation becomes full-blown racism.
But that's just my personal opinion...
