If you can't remember a few generations of our earlier generations in our family how would we believe in something which we can't even know we are aware of. For example there's a huge debate going on to find if there is life after death. But forget about something we can't tentatively feel next to us. There has been 100 theories going on about reincarnation but how would we prove if we had lived before our birth or what we would become later on after our death. I believe in the 'chance theory' rather which says we are all born out of chance. we are given a chance to live in the world out of chance. Let us live happily. good luck.

I was born with pastlife memories. I didn't realize that's what they were until much later. As a child, I accepted the knowledge that I was going to die when I was 26 without question (the age I died in prior life). I could also see myself and the person I was, was not the person I am now. My childs mind never questioned this and I carried these semi-conscious thoughts around until adulthood before understanding what the hell they were. I've also had dreams that opened up other past life memories that were unlike any dream I've experienced before with accurate period information that I didn't know prior.
A really amazing book on the subject is 'Across Time And Death: A Mother's Search For Her Past Life Children' by Jenny Cockell. It is basically the woman's journal on reconnecting with her most recent pastlife. Her story was also the subject of a documentary.

Hi,
In his heart every man knows quite well that, being unique, he will be in the world only once and that there will be no second chance for his oneness to coalesce from the strangely variegated assortment that he is.
Since the person is a combination, a sum if you will, of their genes, their environment and the decisions they take, if they were to be reincarnated they would not be the same person.
Or if you like to imagine that there is some essence that is reincarnated, then consider only this, that person would be so different as to be unrecognizable to their former self and in therefore it makes no sense to refer to them as the same person.
Therefore any anecdotal evidence of remembering past lives is at best merely that a remembrance but not implying that the person remembering was the person who is remembered.

Yes I do believe in Karma and Reincarnation. Do I believe in past life regression of course. Here is the rub though, its not for us to judge another when they say something that they truly believe in, its not a Christan thang, its a universal thang.

I find it quite amusing, that so many people find it difficult to believe in the 'theory' of 'past-lives'... They were most likely skeptics in their past lives, as well, and have not progressed far in this one!
I don't believe the theory of reincarnation is that 'we' skip back and forth, or choose which era we can exist in, (*that would be 'time-travel' or quantum-leaping). I believe the 'soul' ages, learns, and progresses each lifetime, one to another, until it reaches the point of evolving, that it (*the soul) can then achieve it's ultimate goal of Ascension.

Yes....Its the soul(or i may call it the Mind) .... The soul never dies and keeps entering new bodies. The person won't remember his last life, but his experiences and sufferings in his last life decide his nature in his present life....the only way out of this process of reincarnation is the attainment of Nirvana or enlightenment.
One must learn to see life evenly in every situation....

Yes, Because Iam an Indian, And we say that a black mark on the face means we are reincarted. Iam sure about this because we, Indians, on burning the dead body sprinkle some oil.
And that oil is the black mark I told yo earlier.

sometimes we have these experiences that seem like, I've been here before. sometimes it's just the pepperoni pizza talking.
It would be nice to think, if you didn't get it right, God would give you another chance or maybe a zillion chances to get it right,
but come to think of it , maybe it would be a drag hanging around a milion years waiting to go to the next level.
for me I think when you die, you go to heaven if you love
God. If you don't love God why would you want to spend eternity with him. peace out dude
