Of course! you not grown up and dependant if you don't plus your the one that wears them so therefore should be the one to wash them! I love doing my washing it is sort of a relaxing feeling!

Well, the washing machine does - but I put htem in there and take them out - not just for me but for my H and 3 kids as well!

I wash the cottons and synthetics in the washing machine. I hand wash my wool and silk. We can't be ruining our cashmere sweaters right before winter, now, can we?

Yeah, I stay alone and do it. In fact there is a bucket full at home, that I have to do when I get back. Its 6 pm now.

No. My lovely mother does it for me!
I always screw up washing it and she's such a perfectionist that she said, "Asha, don't wash anything anymore."
