Is it bad for my daughter to masturbate at the age of 10?

Children find all these things out earlier and earlier. A lot of the time it is through complete accident. There is a phase in their mental growth where they will do these things.
You may even find that although it is small, children will have a small inkling of a sexcual attraction to a parent of the opposite gender. Such as girls will like their fathers, and boys will like their mtohers, and they become jealous when the mother and father pay more attention to each other. This is perfectly normal, and is the reason why young girls will claim that they want to marry their fathers one day.
It is completely innocent, and she probably doesn't even realise what she is doing. All she would know is that it would feel good, and will experiment with it.

you are not a bad daughter, but your mom just want to show you that she loves you and that is good! Maybe tell her not to do it in front of everybody if you don't like it...i gave my mom a kiss before bed until i was like 15!!! But still i think you are really lucky, your mom shows you that she loves you, do you know how many people that don't have that chance??? They get beat up instead or yelled at??? I understand how you feel, but just go smooth, don't tell her, gosh just leave me alone, i'm not your little girl anymore cause you will hurt her feelings!

No, it's not bad. She may be maturing a bit sooner than most girls and is discovering her body and how it feels to stimulate herself. I suggest finding a book on the subject that is age appropriate for her, and having a frank discussion about it. Never make her feel ashamed of what she's doing, but make sure she understands that it's something very personal and private.

i go to my bros house and his ladys lil girl is like 4 and she seems to be masturbating or something... i seen her humping the couch and some crazy stufff. her mom said its normal she said try having a girl
i have no idea..
and no it is not bad if the girl is ten... girls go into puberty b4 boys do... so they im thinking they do it at a younger age than boys..
i know a boy that started at 13 and some girls in his class had been very developed at that age b4 he was. i couldnt keep the girls off me and i was not ready for them at that age.
the hottest girls in class were always hitting on me and i thought that they were teasing me, but if you look at me, they were serious and i didnt even know it.
so its my guess that its normal for a 10 year old girl.

Bad? Masturbation is never bad or good, its just something people do. Age does not have anything to do with it, boys are usually playing with themselves from babyhood on, so why not girls?

WOw wow wow wow wow. I mean her getting in touch wiht her sexuallity is not all that bad, but if she is masturbating at that young of an age, when she gets to be a few years older, she will want to do the real thing. What grade is she in? Once you get to middle school and high school things can get outta wack and you may end up wiht a pregnant teenager at your door step. And also we aer talking here a ten year old girl who is masturbating.What kinda house hold are you running there ?? Did she tell you anout this, because if so it would then be very easy to talk to her about it because she trusts you. Does she talk about sex alot too and things like that, because then you need to tell her that it is not very approporiate to talk about ose things. I do not want to seem like i am analyzing and picking you apart eiht this comment. But in the end if she wants to get in touch wiht her sensual side that is fine, but you are going way to far with masturbating. I am sry but that just grosses me out.

No, not at all. It's perfectly normal and can be healthy. I've gone through the same issues with my kids.

I shouldn't think it will do any harm. We all 'come of age' at different times. Discourage doing it in public, though.

That is perfectly fine and it is not bad, just talk to her about it. But do not tell he it's a bad thing to do. Just tell her it's a thing you do in private.
