The images we currently see in media and in advertising are young beauties. To be old is repulsive, it would appear. Do you see beauty in old faces?

You know what Jo? I have a thing about beautiful women and the link between beauty and brains or personality. I find that the more beautiful a woman is the harder it is to extract an intelligent answer out of her. I know I cannot generalise for all the women out there but that is just my feelings and thoughts. Give me an average looking woman with some brains in her head and I will be quite happy.
All I seem to get out of my beauty queens is drivel about make up and clothes and other superficial rubbish like that. I'll have an average looking girl any day over that.

To some extent, the accepted concept of beauty is constantly changing. But one constant is that youth is attractive and age is not. People will try to deny that and point to older celebrities who are still considered attractive, but that only confirms the status quo because those older stars look incredibly young for their age.

Our most basic concepts of beauty are rooted in biology. Young women are fertile, old women are not. So dont expect Playboy magazine to start featuring 50 years olds. The models will continue to be 20ish.

YES. I see beauty in all faces. Beauty is in specific items.
Beauty is a conglomerate of things. Beauty is as beauty does.
Old is not repulsive. OLD is a reality & as soon as young people
realize it is universal they will adjust their attitudes toward aging.
And the whole beauty concept.

probable to three quantity. it quite is probable exacerbated by utilising the reality that many toddler boomers are the attending physicians besides. they are accomplishing retirement age and there is not a huge adequate pool of further qualified human beings to swap them. i think of that's the biggest ingredient of the surgeon shortage/scientific fee gouging occurring. they only could desire to coach greater medical doctors. We could have a number of the international's appropriate experienced medical doctors yet, stable luck attending to work out one. you will see the youngster 2 years out of med college rather maximum probable. Attending physicians are in basic terms around for the mandatory 30 2d communication to work out if the intern did not decrease to rubble. i'm in gen x and that i can assert with a super degree of actuality that the main knowlegable medical doctors are actually not from my era. not yet a minimum of.

i still see my friend's mums walk around in heels and dresses
and they look hot.. and not trashy!
i reckon our generation will continue to focus on young
beauties rather than the oldies..
because we are brought up 2 b the consumer
and all we got to do is buy.buy.buy.
the only thing that will attract us are superficial and sterotypical images.

Yes - the older I get, the more beautiful old faces become.

As a baby boomer myself, I think we look a little silly trying to look like we are in our 30's.
(although people take me for that!). I am noticing women who don't get botox and let their hair gray, and I think they look stunning when they just apply the principle "Do the best with what you've been blessed".

great question! thanks~
