Having played competitive basketball for years, and sustained innumerable hand injuries doing it, it's my guess that neither 'crushed' nor 'dislocated' properly apply here.

Until you can get yourself to a doctor or a clinic, tape a couple of fingers together to prevent too much movement and protect the injury. Going for medical help is the key.

that type of dislocation is frequently accompanied by a fracture or two. A trainer would probably just pull on it to pop it back into joint, but you need a doc to decide if an xray is indicated to eval for fractures, to prevent later deformity and disability.

You may want to take oatstraw herbal tea or comfrey tea. There are controversy about comfrey so research it before taking it.

You can try yoga. Research about yoga first, also.
