I have carved in soap, wood, stone and chalk and have painted and drawn things all my life. I see beauty in any thing ordinary and free it from shackles that bind it to revealit to those who are blind to the possibilities.

One day I was waiting at the bus stop. It had been raining a litttle and the sun was starting to come out. I saw the most perfect spider's web glistening in the sun and at that precise moment I knew I would never see such a beautiful spider's web again in my entire life. That is proof that ordinary things which you might even dislike and try to get rid of have their beautiful sides.

Of course. This is how I always view people. You see how they go about their business, and ultimately how they deal with people, and someone who may just be ordinary on the outside becomes a true beauty by how he/she presents themselves.
Also beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So, I may think that this crystal vase is very radiant by the way the sun glistens off of it, while someone else may say "boring"

I try and see beauty everywhere in the world. Sometimes that is harder than others. And when I'm having the sort of day where I need to have my breath taken away, I drive to the mountains and hike. That almost always does the trick.

What you ask is what William Blake described so well...
To see a world in a grain of sand
and Heaven in a wildflower
to hold infinity in the palm of your hand
and eternity in an hour.
The ability to view the extraordinary embedded within the commonplace is the essense of all truly great art, science and religion. If you think about it -- seriously -- at this singular point of "VISION" we are achieving our most dazzling potentials, as individuals and as a people.
Yes, I try to see the Heaven in every wildflower I encounter. How about you?

Real beauty is in the eyes that are looking. And everything has it's own beauty for those who know how to observe.
