Hi!

You should just go and live in a Hostel while looking for a job and place to stay. That's what I did.

Hostels in Australia are very cheap and they all have work boards, so that you can look for jobs.

you shoul also check out this site for work. it got me a couple of works:
www.seek.com.au

I don't know where you're going, but It's pretty expensive to rent a place in Syndey. The best thing is when you get to Sydney (or wherever you are going) to just go for a walk in the city and you'll find papers of people with a spare room everywhere. This rooms are not expensive and in really nice appartments. that's what a lot of travellers do. You'll see when you get down there.

If you want to rent something for you're self, check this out:

I recommende a hotel called The Maze in Sydney. Cheap and very nice.

Good Luck!

ignore Darwin, this is largely a huge city and extremely remoted from something of oz.. you will on no account get to work out something. Perth is gorgeous, yet additionally remoted from something of Australia. Brisbane is now a city yet genuinely would not have the metropolitan sense of Sydney and Melbourne. in case you want to stay close to the coast and characteristic fairly reliable climate for various the 300 and sixty 5 days, you're superb to look between Sydney and Brisbane as human beings have pronounced. the agricultural components around Melbourne are eye-catching, however the coast is definitely no longer the comparable. On a map, commence at Sydney and shop on with the coast as much as Brisbane. Coffs Harbour is eye-catching as is the Gold Coast Hinterland and everywhere in between. I grew up in Melbourne and now stay in Brisbane and if i ought to, i could pass everywhere from Coffs Harbour to Gold Coast Hinterland (Mt Tamborine). i do no longer think of you would be dissatisfied!
