Its is an evolutionary issue. ideally, the more you use your feet for walking on an evolutionary anthropological view point, the bigger it gets in conjunction with your body size coupled with genetics. Feet help balance the body well. Its a combination of many historical factors, diet, religion, family lifestyles, climate all contribute.. For example, I would imagine that women stayed at home and looked after the children hence the small feet and men hunted for food etc hence the bigger feet.

If you look at women from the Mediterranean countries, they tend to have larger feet than european women. Black women from the african continient such as ghana, nigeria and surrounding countries tend to have big feet like size 8 to 11 despite the fact that a women may be short

cuz we're shorter. the size of your feet are proportionate to the rest of your body.

The length of your foot is the same as your arm from wrist to elbow.
