My furnace makes this loud buzzing sound, like something is vibrating really bad. but it only happens for about a minute before the fan shuts down. Its starts out as a slight vibration sound, and gets gradually louder and louder untill it just shuts down. Then, it is fine the next time that it kicks on again, right up until about a minute before it kicks back off. Any ideas?

cold air is denser than warm air. try removing hot air grates & see if it still vibrates at cycle end. might need duct cleaning.

When your unit reaches the stat temp you have set, The fan will drop in speed. It will not shut down until the furnace has cooled off. Thats why you hear it in the last minute before it cuts off. It's possible that the blower wheel thats attached to the motor is just full of dirt and off balance. At the higher speed your just not hearing the noise

It could be a Bearing on the motor, but most likely, the Fan needs cleaning, when dust and dirt accumulate, and it does, it throws the fan out of Balance, you know what happens when a car tire is out of balance, - it wears uneven, - If you are handy, you can remove the Fan and Clean it, its called a Squirrel Cage, and it will slide out, and the Electric, should just unplug from the unit. make sure all is off before attempting to clean, or remove it.

a place to look before replacing the bearing is look at the drive belt to see if it is frayed or worn or mega loose. Another point to examine is that the fan cage is solid and not loose as in bolts backing out. If these are not the case its time to call in a furnace repair person.

It Sounds to me that your bearing in your fan is gone or u/s. it needs replacing. If you can get at the bearing, there is a motor bearing spray you can purchase from hardware store. Its like an oil base spray. Spray this were the bearing is first. Before you try and change it, this may cure your problem temp. good luck
