End of world.

Humans did not take over from the dinosaurs. There was at least 60 million years between the last dinosaur and the first human.

The creatures that rule this planet are the bacteria. They have done so for the past 3600 million years and will probably do so until the sun swells past the orbit of the earth in perhaps 5000 million years time.

In the meantime if you want to think about larger creatures, try this

lol....funny

Humans didn't take over the dinosaurs. There was no conflict between dinosaurs and humans. They live before any human ever lived. If they wouldn't have been destroyed, they would be the "humans" of these days. Well not all of them, but one of their species.

Humans will not be taken over by another species, unless we allow them. And when I say this, I am thinking about ideas from the planet of the apes. Otherwise if a virus doesn't kill 98% of the humans on Earth, or an alien species doesn't take over, we will rule over this piece of rock called Earth.

Humans have not taken over dinosaurs. They got extinct because of natural calamity. Hence it may need another man made or natural calamity to erase the human from the earth's face. However, some humans may escape out of earth at that time and it is possible they return back when earth becomes habitable again.

Nobody really knows. Except we know one thing that won't happen. Any species that replaces humans as the most dominant will not be able to repeat our technological achievements because humans have already used up the oil, the natural gas, and the usable metal ores.

The next species to take over from humans will be a radioactive cloud! when that disperses, it will be followed by the humble cockroach! Oh! well! it all happened before with the dinosaurs!
