I am nearly 30 and when I was a teenager I thought 30 was pretty old!!! What do you think?

Middle aged is the middle of our lifespan. Today's American lifespan is roughly 80 years old.... middle aged would be around 40. If you are nearly 30, you are still young but probably know alot about life. With the passing years one should gain wisdom and inner peace.

On TV, they said that it has been decided that 50 is the new 'middle aged' as people are living longer nowadays. I've always thought 50 should be middle age coz it's in between 1 and 100. I'm middle aged but mentally, when I'm with my young grand-daughters, I act about 5....its great !!!!! Age is a number, not a state of mind and if you act and think younger than you are, then in my opinion, you will live longer. I have a daughter your age and she is a 'baby' in my eyes, she's young and has a whole life in front of her. Don't think about your age, just go out and enjoy yourself and act as young as you feel honey.

I don't know, I'm 39 and keep passing the middle age milestone so I asume there will be a point when I think, this is it or I'll think whoa! I missed it years back and now I'm just really old!

I think "Middle age" is betwen 30 and 40.
