Green Day is a musical trio from East Bay, California, consisting of Billie Joe Armstrong (guitar, lead vocals), Mike Dirnt (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Tré Cool (drums, backing vocals). Try listening to their older stuff like Basket case, Warning, Walking Contradiction.
Its really amazn. Better than their new stuff too.
what really maked me love them more is that their stuch with their genre right from the time they were knew inspite of various problems at venues For eg Their first woodstock where the crowed booed and threw stuff on them They still continued their music

I know they are from San Fransisco and they don't like Bush. Great group though.

well they are a great band.the main guy is Billie Joe.i like their songs:holiday,american idiot,time of ur life,bolevard of broken dreams.
