I think lord krishna is god of love. He had very pure friendship with radha, all gopis, sudama and other friends. Today I think it is very difficult to find pure freindship like lord krishna. Isnt it ?

I think one has to differentiate between friendship and love. When two people become Friends, their relationship should be based on mutual respect for what they are rather than what material wealth. They should be able understand and appreciate their ideas, even though you may not agree to it. When this friendship is between a male and female, it is very dificult to detach from sexual attraction. It needs a lot self control and restrain to achieve this platonic love. all said and done do you really think love between Radha and krishna is plaatonic. espcially in those vedic period were love (sex) is never considered a taboo, as this concept was created post vedic period. this consideration of sex being a sin is more of influence of muslim and christian concept.

We consider Lord Krishna had pure friendship because we read that...Did we see or felt...What you consider impure may be pure for some......It is relative
