I think being an orthodontist is probably one of the best jobs out there. You get the big bucks of being a doctor but without the blood and gore and risk of malpractice suit.
Worst job? Depends... I remember when I was a kid and I went to the circus, there was a guy who's job was to cach any elephant crap in a bucket so it wouldn't be all on the ground and gettin in the way of the show. So the elephant would signal and the dude would run over and hold the bucket under the elephant's butt. Butt-bucket man. I was about 8 or so, and I think that's when I decided to go to college once and for all.
I'd also have to say, for other reasons, that protective services is a terrible job. Having to go to some white trash family and witness the terrible conditions some kids have to live in, then to have to take someone's kid away, and deal with the violence and anger and screaming and heartache every day... I would flip out. They get paid quite a bit more than poor butt-bucket man (though still not a lot- they might start low $30Ks and top out around $40-50K), but you couldn't pay me enough to do that job.

I don't know about worst job but I'd say some of the hardest jobs would be anything working with the public....like fast food, police officer, gas station attendant. One of the best jobs is being a mom. I love it. It has great pay and the benefits are awesome.

A job where you're self-employed and don't have to work with buffoons on a dailly basis.A job where you don't have to wonder if you're co-worker is going to be late again.A job where a co-worker is going to work more than he or she talks,instead of the other way around.A job where the boss actually knows his a** from a hole in the ground.A job where there's little or no gossip.A job where you're not getting paid migrant worker wages.A job where your raise is based on performance,not how tight your skirt is or how many times you kiss the manager's a** or how many office parties you go to.

best and worst is subjective but the best job you can have is the one that you want to be at, that makes you happy, the worst job is the opposite

Worst- Being the poor guy that has to clean the floor at a peep-show.
Best- Doing anything at the Playboy mansion and getting paid for it.

The best jobs would be where I would be around people, or outside, be it a nurse, work in a restaurant, work at a park.....for me the worse job would be to work in a cubicle and work with a computer all day.

I used to work in a powdered metal factory. . .you can't get much worse than that, I'd come out of there looking like a coal miner! And it was so hot!
