They cost around $3,000 usd to buy...you probably could get them cheaper.
You will have to see if the UK charge duty on live animals, some items are not taxed. For instance if the animal you want to bring here is going to be your own pet, you will not have to pay, only animals which are intended for sale are taxed.
You will however have to send away for paperwork and pay the relevant fees to have the animal seen by a vet before being shipped etc etc. I am not sure about making sure it is vacinated for anything, but you will have to make sure the animal is flea/lice and tick free.
The shipping cost depends on which firm you use, there will be no set rate, some importers/exporters charge more than others do.

I think you'd be better getting in touch with your local zoo and asking them which company they use to import/export.
If not contact your local dock yard and ask if they have any importers/exporters they can recommend.
If you are getting one I hope that you will have a suitable place for it to live and that you will look after it well...correct food, a vet that is able to be contacted if it ever gets ill. Not all vets will deal with animals such as a camel.
Animals deserve 100% care and respect.
They can be very arrogant animals and you have to be very firm (not cruel) when handling them.

Price would depend on what you want, a single hump camel good for around townm or the sports version with the twin humps,
much better for long distance.

Well, great news! You can buy a pack of camels at your local convience stores! Just go to the counter person and ask them for a pack of camels. Pay the person, voila, your own pack of Camels without shipping or handling costs!

One hump or two? Sorry, I know we've had that one. Seriously, why do you want one in this country? There's better ways to get noticed! Try a llama instead. No humps, but their manners are about the same!
