Try to imagine how you would feel if you were losing blood, or if blood were coming out of your body, for whatever reason. Now try to imagine that your body is replacing some part or tissue, so more energy is being placed into that part or tissue. So you're tired. And maybe you're irritated at the hassle.
You might ask, "Why me?" You might want to rest more. You might have to go to the bathroom more, to replace whatever part of clothing or special temporary absorbent barrier you place to catch the blood.
How can you help her? She wants to cuddle, you wrote.
I'm going to sit back and see what the ladies write. I would only add that you listen, and consider what they and your gf say. And stop using the word b-i-t-c-h when you talk about your friends. It's uncouth.

It's hormones. They will do a number on us.
Tell her to try birth control pills. If she' already on them, she needs a different one. There are so many out there and some mess with our moods more than others.

hey mate.. we use things called tampons and pads.. u know, they absorb the blood, why dont you do some reserch into, dont be so childish about it and grow up!! haveing your period can get painfull with the cramps and maybe cuddleing helps.. tell her to buy a water bottle, a **** load of chocolate andyou can pull your finger out and realize what shes going through..

hormones. the best cure is chocolate and about 2 or 3 days patience. and be nice. it's not like she just lets the blood run all over the place. be kind or you might not have a girlfriend for long.
