I don't suppose it really matters, unless you happen to be another gorilla!
"Anatomically very similar to humans" :- wow that is going to upset the cretinists er sorry I mean creationists.

They are anatomically very similar to humans, and the dimensions do vary from individual to individual. It is not clear whether the rule about the guy with the biggest willy having the smallest and slowest brain holds true in gorillas.

I am 6'2" and female, I have given birth to 4 children and had at least as many miscarriages. My ring fingers on both my right and left hand are significantly longer than my index fingers. I prefer men to women.... Might some of us simply be different than others? To place a significant label/stereotype on a person based on digit proportion is preposterous and not at all scientific. Now, if you would care to add basic blood work and such to your analysis I might buy into it, but just because some dimensional elements are different? No I refuse! As I said, I am 6'2" with a 36" inseam...I am not at the moment a small woman, but I am by no means a man.

I don't know, but why don't you nestle into the female gorilla, and come back and tell me?!
