I have paid $1350 off the course so far. I do not want to continue with the course but they say I must pay another $1350 and return all text books at my own expense. Do I have to pay?

It depends on what your signed contractural agreement was with the online correspondence school. If you read the small print you'll probably find you have to pay for the course in full and it's non-refundable.

If however, you didn't sign anything ...they won't have a legal leg to stand on...but chances are you signed your life away....They will sue you + court costs ...READ the fine print on your contract.

I think you've been ripped off from the start theres no way a course would cost that much in this country! Tell them you haven't got the money you cant afford it.

Check your original contract. If you signed or acknowledged electronically an agreement htat requires cancellation fees and returns, then yes, you do have to pay.
