I'm not a Republican but yes i own firearms. For personal protection, and target shooting.

The problem is in the "mind" of those committing the acts, they will find SOMETHING to carry out their acts.
Propane gas tanks, cars, steel/lead pipes, lumber, etc have all been used. With your logic those should be outlawed.
