Yes twice. The first time was in 1976; there used to be a children's TV programme on ITV called Magpie (it was very similar to Blue Peter) and they did their Christmas Appeal for the Brittle Bone Society (which is the disability that I have), and they came to my school, filmed about four of us in the swimming pool, and I had to do an interview with the presenter Jenny Hanley; I was 11.

The second time was when I was at college, a friend wrote poetry and Central TV in the Midlands did a documentary on him, and we were filmed playing football in the college Sports Hall.

Yes when I was younger I used to get tickets to see filming of various shows.

I took up at least half of two camera shots on Mel & Sues Light Lunch several times, also Channel 4's Wanted.
And although not on TV I was at the pilot episode of The Weakest Link.

Goodbye......

Last Oct. we went to filming of the Millionaire Show and sat directly behind Meredith. We were pretty much in the shadows, so we weren't recognized. We didn't get neat stuff like they do on Oprah, Ellen or the View, either. All we got were pencils and T-shirts.

Yeah, I was on Songs of Praise once. In contrast, the local news was doing a report from Barnsley on the dangers of binge drinking a few years ago, and as the reporter stood in the street talking about young people going out drinking to excess, being loud and unruly, and generally making fools of themselves, my wife and her mates staggered past in the background....

My mother was in a really short street interview. The reporter asked her opinion about whether or not going to vote in the upcoming elections. That happened some years ago.
