It's a scam and don't reply to the email at all. Someone is out to get all your information and then they will delete all you have and I'm not joking either.
If they request you banking information it's a sure sign they are after your money and not giving you your "lotto" money.
Bounce the email and delete it after and put it out of your mind because it's a scam.
How could you win something that you never entered anyway, think about! They do this all the time and hopefully no one sends the information to them that they ask for, yes it's a nasty scam!!!!!!

You've been suckered by a con game. There is no such thing as a UK lottery that picks winners in that manner. You're out 1300 bucks already - don't send them any more! And give up on getting that 1300 back - that won't happen. Just think of it as an expensive lesson.

It is a scam. DO nothing with it except delete it. There are a bunch of thieves out there who are ripping people off. The email usually says that it is from the Lotteries Commission in Liverpool or somewhere in the UK and says the funds are to be paid from some African country. These people are scum - don't let them steal from you.

Bubba,
be glad that's all you're out.
If you didn't buy a lotto ticket, you can be sure that it is a scam.
If anyone asks for money up front, it's a scam.
Generally speaking, if you get e-mail from someone that you don't know, it's a scam.
Consider everything on the net a scam.

If you didn't buy into the lottery in the first place there is no way you could win. I am sorry how this turned out for you. Report it to your local law enforcement agency. This will keep others for making the same mistake.

I get lots of these - according to the emails I receive, I have won three lotteries this week!
I delete them and ignore them.
How can you have won a lottery - did you buy a ticket?

Yes, sorry you fell for it, it's a scam over and over again.
Think: why always the top prize? Why not second, third, fourth, . . . consolation prize? There should be thousands of these for every top prize, but there aren't. So go figure.
