An adult human usually has 206 bones, no matter the gender, but a baby has about 270. As mentioned above, the bones fuse as a person ages. That process is usually complete by age 14. Men and women both have 12 pairs of ribs, and ribs can regenerate when removed. As a result, there is no physical characteristic of human skeletons that reflects the story of Genesis. To state it completely unequivocally: a man has neither one fewer pair of ribs than a woman, nor an unpaired rib. Men and women have the exact same number and arrangement of ribs.

There are some differences between male and female skeletons, but they are not related to the number of bones. Still, men have longer and thicker limbs (arms and legs) and digits (fingers and toes), wider rib cages, and larger teeth. The pelvis also has a significantly different shape between the genders.

Too much generalising here! I would say that Yes, usually men and women have the same number of bones - but how about all the interbreeding that goes on in certain areas? People with six fingers for a start! Do they lose bones from other areas to create the extra finger?
We are all different!

Men and women both have the same number of bones. The confusion over the ribs is that some pople have one or two more sets of what are termed floating ribs than others.

Yes men and women have the same amount of bones...

EXCEPT.. skinny woman (or perhaps some men?) who have their lower ribs removed... and australian aboriginals who have evolved an extra bone in their ankles so squating (to sit that is) for long periods of time is more comfortable.

No woman and man have the same number of bones.A typical adult human skeleton consists of the following 206 bones, though a small portion of the human population have an extra bone, occurring in the form of an extra rib. (Numbers in bold refer to the diagram at right.) that's the only difference

Excluding deformities/mutations, men and women will have the same number of bones. In an adult human that would be 206.

Men and women have the same amount of ribs. Just 'cause God took Adam's rib, doesn't mean all men are born with one less rib. The Bible doesn't say that, either. Old wive's tale. [ the missing rib part - not the Bible story! ]

YES

There is a myth that men and women have a different number of ribs, but that is false

And is also proof that the Bible is just a fairy story
