Aside from talking to your doctor, you may want to consult a nutritionist. This sounds like it could be hidden food intolerances/allergies which can make you feel depression and also drag you down physically. From the sounds of things your body is toxic and you may want to consider doing something like a cleanse and then work on eating right.

There are many things you can do to help promote good health. A probiotic like acidophilus can help restore the good bacteria your body needs to fight infection. It comes in capsule form and is not expensive, there are many different brands.

Also a good whole foods multi-vitamin. These are not the cheap vitamins but they work much more effectively and absorb into your system. They are also from more natural sources and not chemically altered so the body assimilates them more easily because it knows what to do with them.

Are you properly hydrated? You should drink WATER every day. If you are drinking soda, get rid of it. It's evil to the body and the blood sugar levels and can leave you feeling chronically fatigued and ill. A general rule of thumb is to work up to drinking half your body weight in ounces per day... so if you weigh 200 pounds 100 oz of water..

Eat fresh fruits and vegetables and avoid as many packaged preservative laden foods as you can. The preservatives and crap in many of our modern "foods" are terrible on the body and can leave you feeling bad.

For energy try a liquid B-12 vitamin held under the tongue for 30 seconds. It absorbs quickly into the blood stream and helps give natural energy. Also eat several times a day... small 2-300 calorie meals or so 5 or 6 times a day. This regulates the metabolism and keeps the blood sugar levels from spiking and crashing - a very major cause of fatigue and lethargy not to mention other health issues.

You need exercise. It's hard to get motivated when you feel fatigued, but the best way to fight fatigue is exercise. As you do it more it actually gives you energy. Start slow and don't have unrealistic expectations or get impatient. Strength train and do cardio - this will improve your health and stamina on all levels. A little each day and build yourself up slowly.

When you feel an actual illness coming on you can take zinc, vitamin c, and echinacea things of this nature to give your immune system a boost.

Do talk to your doctor about any health issues that may be present, but also remember as a general rule many doctors know very little about nutrition and vitamins etc. as they are taught to focus on drugs and chasing symptoms.

These are just general guidelines :) Without more knowledge of your lifestyle/diet it's hard to give specifics but start with these and monitor what you eat/drink and how you feel 30 minutes and then an hour later. That can help you start to track foods that may be bothering you.

What does your doctor say? Work closely with him to come to the best medical resolution possible.

When you have problems with depression and anxiety, they can ruin your physical health.

Physical problems can aggravate anxiety and depression as well.
Food disorders such as Celiac Disease can wreak havoc with your system. Sleep disorders such as apnea can drive you to the brink.

The only course of action you can take without doctor's help is
- to evaluate your diet, and work toward the optimum healthy diet for you. You may want to keep a food diary, drop some items if they seem to be causing problems, perhaps add some others.

- get not only rest, but also have a regular program of reasonable exercise. Light exercise helps calm the body and the spirit.
- consider a support group or other means by which your emotional needs can be nurtured.

If you are determined to feel better, then I firmly believe you will
be able to improve your condition.
