I bloody love the stuff but think its about time to look for some healthy alternatives, any ideas?

The stuff you buy in jars contains all sorts of rubbish. The real stuff is made of extra virgin olive oil, egg, vinegar and lemon juice. Provided you don't eat a gallon of it, it's quite good for you.

I love the stuff too. Don't try the light stuff - It tastes too vinegary! Don't choose a healthy alternative - just be a bit more sparing when you do have it! Take it as a treat rather than something that you must have with your food - you'll enjoy it even more, if it's possible!

I hate mayonnaise, which is just as well, because I am a diabetic and can eat nothing with raw egg in it. It is also not good for pregnant women.
I occasionally have a dab of salad cream (yummy), olive oil, sauce, English mustard, or nothing.

Get a low fat one from the supermarket or make your own, its made of eggs and too much of them gives you excess cholesterol. Sad innit I love Mayo.

You can buy low fat mayonaise I think. Check the labels and look for other time snext time you go shopping.

mayonnaise is actually quite healthy, full of omega 3. It is fattening though, but u can get extra light varieties!
